9/11/15 - FR

TEAM TIME TODAY (end of the day @ 1:35 - 2:15)
* students currently not passing a class or missing significant number of assignments will attend a study hall for support or time to make up a missing assignment (for a grade)

* study hall depends on students working AT their level of ability and per I.E.P expections (if applicable)

I.  IRAN NUCLEAR "DEAL" ( reading PRO/CON articles)
- review some background on articles
- teacher model Pro (for) and Con (against) statements or words -- how to recognize
- highlight in one color all PRO statements or words
- highlight in a second color (not similar) all CON statements


II.  FAMILY TREE CH 3
- review CH 2 questions
- share CH summary in groups
- write quick paragraph summary of CH 2 in spiral
- take notes on significant plot events (teacher-led/modelling)
- some group discussions on inference questions (reading between the lines)

If you are behind, then, yes, you DO have HW this weekend.

* Be sure to be FINISHED WITH YOUR HISTORICAL PERSON BOOK
* We'll dive heavily into the planning and work on Monday.
* Take notes in advance on facts and details you know you'll include
* Think about how you'll divide your person's life into 9 chapters
* You should already have a list of 20 challenging/colorful/technical VOCAB words from your rsrch
* Be ready to have a list of 20 more vocab words from last half of your research
* Be prepared to turn in at least 20 completed VOCAB WORDS by next Friday
