II. MIB VOCABULARY #1
* last week you were to create a list of vocabulary words from 1st half of your reading
- 20 VOCABULARY WORDS due by FRIDAY
- typed or in MIB page format
- must have:
(a) VOCABULARY WORD (strong, colorful, specific to era/field, NOT generic)
(b) WORD PART (in parentheses)
(c) DEFINITION
(d) CONTEXT explanation of how word fits into the life or world of your subject
(e) SENTENCE in which word appears (with "quotation" marks)
* does NOT have to be in alphabetical order (this time)
III. MIB CHAPTER BREAKDOWN
- list ideas for how to break down chapters (but also READ the instr. packet)
- birth, death (obvious chapters)
- early childhood, education, first jobs or tasks, marriage and children, major moments in life
- battles, wars, struggles, awards, recognitions, losses, defeats (anything that "marks" a person's life)
* each chapter will have it's own original title, UNLESS it's generic (and anyone can use)
