- hear the word and try to spell as best you can
- hear the sentence and try to guess meaning of the word
* working on strong reading comprehension skills
- Self - correct with packet;
- also try to pull out any other word meanings with reference packet

Complete second double-sided page Tues HW
We'll correct and discuss on Thursday


II.  WHERE I'M FROM POEM - finish
- final formatting explained
- complete in class OR work on HW and finish at home (type) -- up to you
* use time well.  Plan on finishing IN class.  Not meant to be HW.

III.  FAMILY TREE
- finish Chapter 1
- we learn a little about Papa and Tyler's family
- we learn more about the Family Tree project
