I. BOOK REPORT FORMAT
- teacher models process
- simple images that illustrate/symbolize literary elements of a story
- plot, opening, hook, main character, internal conflict/external conflict
- setting, themes and values, climax/peak of story, end of story
- Basically TELL the story using quick, simple images
* No less than 2 images per page (boxed) and no more than 6 images per page
* YOU choose how to present your images (teacher has copy paper)
* students will present in small groups next Wed. or Thursday
II. HOMEWORK REVIEW
- review vocab, atlas,
- group share and discuss
III. TRACKER CHECKS
- use score sheet to determine points
- October 8-12 (consider the 12th ALL FILLED IN -- free points)
- Oct. 15-19
- cannot put grade in gradebook until I see that parent HAS signed tracker
IV. LIBRARY - free read day
