* please note students should be 80 pages or so into Free Read Books

I.  HISTORY ALIVE GEOGRAPHY CHALLENGE #1
- Using HA: Interactive Student Notebook, label map and answer questions
-  use Atlas maps, text maps, dictionaries, encyclopedias to answer questions
-  complete answers, thorough, rephrase question into answer
* map focuses students on area of study for the year and geography/terrain/locations, etc.

II.  Ancient Rome & Christianity - video notes
-  video covers ancient Rome's decline and the rise of Christianity
- Christianity will be a major force of cohesion and development of emerging Europe
-  TAKE NOTES (students' decide on format) - key word list or Cornell Notes
