     - begin VOCAB for the week:  answer questions for each word (1 paragraph or more)
       due by next Monday, Dec. 3

II.  continue reading LOIS LOWRY'S THE GIVER (source of vocab this week)

     - trying to get through the end of chapter 3
     - answer 1 page of chapter 2 questions IF you finish
       or
     - begin work on vocabulary
