10/25 [TH]


     descriptive writing/descriptive powerful vocabulary
I.  'GHOST STORY" / POE-CABULARY
    - get out, review (some STILL need to finish -- now two days past due)
    - these are supposed to be possible idea/word generators for your Descriptive Scene

II.  DESCRIPTIVE WORD SCENE (continued)
     A.    - continue to write, using your word bank list on the left
             - remember, this is NOT a full story -- just a moment in what could be a story
               a descriptive scene

    B.   -  grab INSTRUCTIONS for DESCRIPTIVE SCENE "SCARY HOUSE" fram
           - set on top of blank lined paper to see lines (no need to use a ruler!!!)
           - write final in this frame; have fun;
           - BUT use sights, sounds, smells, touches from list that make it creepy, scary
 
    C.   begin FINAL (due next TUESDAY)
           -  neat, organized, correct spelling, descriptive
           - color helps, can be nice

__   finish POE-CABULARY #2 (past due)
__   finish "Ghost Story" for higher grade if you did not (past due if not finished)
       * each was left with students to (1) continue; and (2) to use for ideas
