SCARY WORDS FOR YOUR VOCAB:

EBB: As a noun, means to flow of the ocean tide as it goes out; receding, pull back, fading.
           To move away from land (liquid).
           As an emotion, to gradually lessen or reduce. Dwindle. Wane.  Fade away.
           A sentence can ebb.  An emotion or feeling can ebb.
           To decline or decay.

SKULK:  Primarily keeping out of sight, especially with evil, nefarious, not good motive (reason).
            Often quietly keeping in hiding out of fear or cowardice, usually with bad intentions.  Hiding
             or moving around in the shadows, trying to be NOT noticed.  Of Scandinavian and Middle
             English origins. (Scandinavian skulka = to lurk)
