I. CASTLE PLANNING CHECK IN
* most important part of this project is understanding "project management"
A. - quietly review instructions and your notes
- where R U in this process right now? be specific; (partner sharing)
- PARTS LIST QUIZ (using packet info, vocabulary list, your own research)
- you should, at this point, be able to name at least 10 or more castle parts
- this is initial research; more than 30 castle parts & design elements are in Rdng Pckt #1
* review as a class essential parts list; write down parts on back you did not list in your quiz
B. - brainstorm materials you would or could use for each part you have listed on your quiz
- add parts from other student lists
* use your instruction packet sheet (last page), which gives you ideas
* this forces you to use your instruction packet for ideas/reviewing
II. THE GIVER chptr 10-11
- review story so far
- SSR CH 10-11 (stop at end of chpt 11)
- teacher - led notes
- brief overview of Plato's Allegory of the Cave
