 minimum POEM TYPES YOU SHOULD HAVE RD'S FOR:
__ Setting Acrostics (1-2)        __ Antagonist Acrostic     __ Preposition Poems (2-4)
__ Cinquains (2-4)                   __ Diamontes (2-4)            __ 5 Senses Poems (1, min.)

* You are reviewing your instruction sheet checklists for figurative imagery used

* Revise or rewrite poems to include figurative imagery from check list


I.  POETRY SCRAPBOOK
A.  POETRY ABOUT THEMES, COLORS
      - review 5 Senses, Diamonte, and Cincuain formats
      - brainstorm list of themes (back cover at a minimum), colors, moods, ideas, emotions from book
   
B.  HAIKU
      - review instructions; read a few examples; discuss background
      - WRITE ROUGH 3-5 DRAFT HAIKU
      -  try moments, nature, setting, situations, emotionally tense or relaxed moments

II.  SBAC DAY 2
- everyone gets a reading and writing score
- Opt Out kids work on reading and writing skill building packet in library

III.  KNIGHT'S TALE
- continued
- focus on plot progress; theme development
