IV. WHERE I'M FROM (poem)
- conduct interviews with classmates (Get To Know You Q's)
- read Where I'm From by George Ella Lyon 2-3x
- analyze annotate (teacher led)
- begin rough draft of your own "Where I'm From" poem
use original as your frame/ rewrite with your details
every line should offer a specific sensory detail -- sight, sound, smell, touch, etc.
lines should convey a sense of time and place
