- correct; use to finish sentences due FRI
- use words in invidividual sentences with context
- theme of October, Fall, Leaves, Halloween, etc.
- sentences do not have to be connected

- write title on lined paper
- brainstorm questions that you would ask to write an essay on this person
- certain questions are almost always answered when writing about famous people
- understanding that the same questions apply to nearly all people when writing
- helps you read for purpose; helps you better research; helps you write your own essays/reports

III.  CHARLEMAGNE THE GREAT article
- read article once
- second time create a list of questions that the article/essay answers
- indicate in text with a number what question is being answered

* at end we'll underline 20 phrases, words, facts that you would have to mention
in a report or article on Charlemagne

IV.  CHARLEMAGNE VIDEO
- video notes; should already be familiar with a lot of the material
- note introduction, writing style, paragraph/subject shifts
