Each chapter worth points.  Roughs will be just that -- rough, sloppy, messy
Rough drafts give you something to work with, to revise, change, correct
           * for viewing only, teacher will not keep
           * show me rough drafts between now and Tuesday for full points
           * rough drafts are a separate grade in Synergy gradebook (will be on progress reports)
TEACHER TO VIEW ONLY -- NOT KEEPING ROUGHS (student keeps to work on)

organization/language arts
I.  REVIEW OF TRACKER/PLANNER
- again my expectations:  this is what you should also do at home
- look at your tracker, get out your materials, is anything due, what do you need?
- plan some of tonight's homework, if you can

- review of TRACKER SCORE SHEET that will be part of LA grade
- the planner is a shorthand/categorizing/organization activity
- it's not easy, which is why we practice
* if a teacher does not write up an agenda for you, you are still expected to create one

II.  DARK AGES, Discovery Channel video, chapter 4 (rise of Christianity)
CHAPTER 4: The Common Thread of Christianity
- review notes; how did the last section end?  THIS IS A TRANSITION
- rewatch end of chapter 3, start of chapter 4 -- take note of how transition is created
- Why is the word thread used?  What image does it create? How do you use thread?
- How does this image fit with history of early Christianity in post-Roman Europe?
- Clovis and the Franks convert to Christianity?  How does this impact Europe?

III.  LIBRARY DAY - MIB Work Day
- work on MIB vocabulary/glossary (roughs due tomorrow)
- or work on MIB chapters or maps
- take paper if you are ready (all kept in class)
- have a plan for the library time - what is your goal?
* USE YOUR TIME WISELY/EFFICIENTLY!!! (please)

* * * * *
HOMEWORK - adjust plan according to YOUR schedule
* * * * *
__  continue/finish ROUGH DRAFTS for MIB chapters IF NOT DONE

how you will finalize your book.
What paper will you use? Will you write or type?
What is left to complete?
GRAB paper from Mr. Gentile.
Revise rough drafts of the chapter text.
Finish the glossary.
You are trying to finish early.
Due 10/10, but there is not school that day.
Finish and turn in 10/9 or work on all day 10/10 and turn in by end of day or send copy to Mr. G
