I. VOCAB - PREFIXES MAL-, MALE-, MIS-
- This week's vocabulary had most to all of the answers IN the text as long as you read it
- boxing and underlining are both a reading strategy,
but also related to COMMON CORE STANDARDS
- discuss in groups and share information; talk about why an answer is correct or incorrect
- work out the correct answer
* packets due at the end of class (no test or sentences due on Friday)
II. MINI ILLUSTRATED BOOKLET work session
- review instructions (what are you supposed to be doing)
- review your work so far (what's left to do?)
- set a goal for the time you have in class (you should have an idea by now how long things take)
- the chapters are priority, as I'll be looking for nine rough drafts by Monday
- glossary and map are second priority
* book should be read by now
* paper for final will be handed out next week, although you can choose your own publishing style and complete from home on the paper you choose.
