      Requires a completed SUN School application

I.  TRACKER/HW check in
- plan out week of work for MIB chapters
   (9 rough drafts by Sunday)
   (should already be half way into finishing roughs)
- review CW "showing reading"
* think about your week and plan on when you can work

II.  VOCAB PRE-QUIZ (bad bad words)
- hear words, try to spell
- hear words in sentence, guess meaning/definition
- try to guess word part (noun,adjective, adverb, verb)
* guessing is expected for full grade on pre-quiz.

- self-correct misspelled words; begin  packet
- review pages and plan how to finish by due date
- FINISH PACKET BY THURSDAY when you enter class
* it's easier than it seems!


III.  FAMILY TREE chapter 6-7
- review story so far
- continue key word notes while teacher reads
- some discussion on author's style, use of words, purpose of structure
- two-columns; LA Spiral
- Q: what would be a good title for chapter 6?
- QW:  quick, 7-line or less summary of Chpt. 6 using notes
- QW:  quick 5-minute reflection (working on fast, limited writing times)
