- How do you take notes from a non-fiction book?
- How do you figure out/determine a Thesis statement or point?
- Using the cover, backcover, introduction and table of contents
   to develop a thesis and take notes for a research report
* STUDENTS ARE PROCEEDING AS IF THEY'LL BE WRITING A 
   2-page report on the topic of their self-chosen non-fiction books
* notes can be word for word (place quotations around word for word notes)
* will NOT be actually writing a research report 
* this is a build up and prep assignment only
* Note cards, web-outline (organizer) and bibliography page due next library day
