- take note of "Illuminated Manuscript"
* a painting of  life in Middle Ages
- make observations - what do you see?  what can you tell about life in SS?
- write in SS Spiral

- preview  & review Charlemagne & Vikings

be unfamiliar to us

- READ pgs. 22-28
- begin FRAME/outline notes on Feudalism

   introduction often towards end, sometimes at start
   chapter summary on page 28
* we'll finish this on Thursday, but you should go over some as homework, too
* be brief and succinct; purpose is NOT to fill boxes with voluminous information

___  begin FEUDALISM VOCAB from HA, Chpt. 2, pp.18-28 (due FRI)
         - simply copying definition is worth a C-
         - add details from text to flesh out definition, such as examples, dates, rules, etc.
         - compare word and meaning to today's era; are things the same today? (state standard)

___  begin/review "CIVILIZATIONS" map/atlas worksheet (due FRI)
        - use your Atlas for any answers you can't find on the worksheet map

___  begin/review "PRECIPITATION" map/atlas worksheet (due FRI)
        - use your Atlas for any answers you can't find on the worksheet map
