II.  GEOGRAPHY ACROSTIC - multi cultural novel
- review acrostic format
- write out name of city, region, country
- can be sort of generic if you have to
  "small southern village," for instance
* write rough draft in your LA Spiral; use your book!!

- try to write two drafts
- write from the perspective of your main character or another character



III.  LIST POEM for multicultural novel
- pick a place or scene from the novel and just write a list of things "found"
- if a movie camera were to pan around the scene what would it see?
- use adjectives, prepositions "crumpled lined paper in the south corner"
* a list alone should convey a story or tone just by what you include
