* * * VALENTINE'S DAY


I.  VALENTINE'S/FEBR.
- brainstorm all words you can think of (silently)
- share at table; write more than 50 words
- unscramble  Valentine's words

II.  ROMEO & JULIET ACT 2, SCENE TWO
- read along with teacher; repeat lines
- interpret explain what you *think* is happening in words
- teacher-led interpretation on other side

III.  VALENTINE'S CINQUAIN BEAR
-  review Cinquain (three types)
-  use word lists from start of class
- write 3 rough drafts; choose best one
- create a rough design of size of words/design first
- then you can work on final version with color
* dark pencil or pen lettering; larger than normal; centered
