STATE READING TEST THIS WEEK:  SECOND ROUND OF TESTING
which is, unfortunately, overlapping the end of
COMPLETING SS PERSUASIVE PAPERS this week
and don't forget to bring in your
RUN FOR THE ARTS PLEDGES
which are due ASAP!!!

I.  POETRY SCRAPBOOK drafts 
- 2nd core worked on Preposition Poems and then created an Acrostic Poem of one object
- objects or things that have meaning, impact or significance in the story
- 1st core worked on response questions regarding how they felt about the character and book
 * responses can be used for introduction or epilogue of poetry scrapbook
* 2nd core will catch up next week

II.  OAKS STATE TESTING #2 - finish
- 1st core all finished; 2nd core nearly all finished (will complete Monday)
* PRIORITY # (1) finish persuasive paper; 
* then, (2) work on Poetry Scrapbook,or (3) Vocab Sentences;
* or (4) complete map and details/facts on setting of your multi-cult. novel
