2nd Quarter ends in two weeks!!!
* sit where you like
* answer/discuss questions on overhead about your break
I. BREAK TALK at table
- discuss questions on the overhead
- give at least 3 details with your answer
- be clear, but concise; short answers, but detailed/specific
example: Saw the new Spiderman/Spiderverse movie at the Regal Cinemas on 12/24
with A, B, and C (friends).
II. BREAK TALK walkabout
- everyone is assigned one question
- go and talk to as many classmates as possible and ask them your question
- cannot talk to table mates until everyone else is already on your sheet
- on a separate sheet of lined paper: Your name, date, period number = upper right
Title of paper is your question (write it 2x as large as your normal writing)
- then talk to classmates
WRITE FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, then quick answer;
at least three words for details
* "I don't know" counts against that person's score AND your score!!!!
ask questions; get details; come up with something!!!
example: Mr. Gentile -- read 7th Son trilogy by Orson Scott Card
800 pages; first week; 3rd time reading this
or: Mr. Gentile -- rd 7th Son trilogy by Orson Scott Card; 1st wk; 3rd time
AVOID CLOSE FRIENDS FIRST!
* ANSWERS FROM BEST FRIENDS or
CLASSMATES YOU ALWAYS SIT WITH or TALK TO count against you
until you have at least 10-12 answers from classmates you rarely ever talk to

* high powered, interesting, challenging, specific, colorful, interesting
