    - if class largely hasn't done this work, then we spend ten minutes
      quietly reading instructions; working
    - at a minimum EVERYONE has a piece of paper with the title on it

    - share/discuss in groups (helps writing later)

  A.   LILY'S NAME (significance) : CORNELL-STYLE NOTE
         - table discussions:  what do we know about Lily?
            What's she like? Say? Do? Act? Think?
         - classroom share / NOTES IN SPIRAL (two-pages)
           NEXT TIME:
         - how does Lily's name fit her purpose or function in the novel?
         - think aloud how teacher FOUND this information
