NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY
NOTE:  ABC MYSTERY BOOK REPORT due next Friday, October 19
               * at least ten words w/ paragraphs telling story needed for a passing grade


I.   TRACKER CHECK (every day we fill out, even if it's not listed here)


II.  review EXAMPLE WORD LIST (teacher led)
    - look over/review word list from 7 MONOLOGUES from 8th grade field trip
    - note how words from these monologues are so powerful
    * kids were interested, so this informs them, PLUS connects as an example for ABC word ideas
 

III.  continue ABC MYSTERY BOOK WORK
      - continue reading book (if you are behind); or
      - continue to work on ABC words w/ paragraphs/descriptions (tell the story in parts); or
      - read extra credit / make up example ABC list:
         "The Woman Who Fell To Earth, " a Doctor Who Mystery (Sunday's premiere episode)

     * SHOULD be done by now, however, or very close to it

     * minimum 10 words  w/paragraph explanations for a passing grade
     * formatting, neatness count
     * can be hand written or typed

__  work on (choice/if you need it) EXTRA CREDIT MAKE UP WORK (open ended due date)
       1)   Copy Doctor Who EXAMPLE ABC ENTRIES
              * examples to guide you, writing experience, AND you are reading
              * neatness, formatting, titles count

        2)   Answer Doctor Who "Girl Who Fell To Earth" Questions
              * separate sheet of paper
              * all answers in the paragraphs
              * write in complete sentences
              * rewrite the question INTO the answer as a statement
