Words that you can copy and turn in as part of your MIB vocabulary.
No sentences are required for these words, since they are rather long to copy.
CLERGY: Members of the church, such as the priests, who perform sacred functions or ceremonies. In a sense the priests, vigars, bishops -- all the people who'd be considered the church leaders or official members. NOT necessarily the people who go to the church. Those people are part of the CONGREGATION -- the gathered people who worship at a church.
RHETORIC: The study of persuasive writing and speaking. Talking. Today, we sometimes say "that was 'rhetorical ' "when we something that does not need a response (the answer is obvious or unnecessary) and someone responds.
JOURNEYMAN: A person who has learned a particular trade or craft but has not become an employer or master of his (or her) trade. Someone who has been an apprentice (long-term trainee) and is certified to work in that field, but only with a managing supervisor or "master" of that field. A person who is trained and skilled, but not the owner of the business, someone who is employed by someone else.
HOMAGE: A special honor or deep respect shown in public for someone, especially someone who is powerful or deserves deep respect. You pay homage, meaning you show your respect, through actions, salutes, complimentary words and deference for someone else.
