I. SCARY WORDS part 1
A.   - PREQUIZ
       - hear words, hear words in a phrase (not a sentence)
       - guess spelling; try to guess meaning
       * pre quiz points based on effort/guessing/trying

B.   -  Self correct, using list

C.   - Begin this week's SCARY WORDS VOCABULARY (due Friday)
         30 words with definitions
         15 sentences (NOT original -- find examples or have adults give you examples)
         * you get to choose the words and which words to have sentences for
         * another 30 words next week; same format
         * leads us into a poem we will be reading shortly

II.  FAMILY TREE
- review Chapter 6 questions
- begin Chapter 7; periodic discussions and take notes
- listen to teacher emphasis;

III.  MYSTERY BOOK CHECK OUT
