___  REGISTRATION PACKET (due as soon as you can turn in)

___  MIB VOCAB #1
          - 20 words with
                  (a) clear, detailed definitions (do not use word in definition)
                  (b) full sentence in which word appears in your book  (underline word, include page #)
                  (c) 1-2 sentences about your person's life that helps make the word make sense
                        HOW does the word apply to your person?
                        * just say it, do not say "this word applies because..."

___  3-5 MIB ROUGH DRAFTS (should be done, NOT turning in)
          * I will be checking on Tuesday.  This is where you should be, schedule-wise
          * if you do not have 3-5 rough drafts,
             you know you have to work over the weekend to catch up
          * we want to have 9 rough drafts by next Thursday or Friday


UNFINISHED WORK CAN BE COMPLETED OVER THE WEEKEND AND TURNED IN ON MONDAY


I.  MIB WORK TIME
- review tracker and schedule
- plan for work that needs to be finished over the weekend (if needed)
- set a goal for ONE chapter you can get done in 30 minutes in class, maybe two
- review your thumbnail sheet of pages for chapter topic ideas, if you are stuck

II.  MIB VOCABULARY EXAMPLE (teacher led)
* now that you've done your vocab, add this to your work
* teacher led and think aloud explaining design and wording
 * should help with future vocab work OR make up work this weekend
    ARISTOCRACY and   POPULIST
