9/15 [FR], 2017

TEAM TIME TODAY
- modified classes
- students get an end of the day recess
   OR choose to work in a classroom to catch up on work or get help

I. TRACKER/MIB INSTRUCTIONS (for now)
- check/review tracker
- fill in missing spots
- be clear on homework steps
- add MIB (mini illustrated book) instructions for right now
  * strive to finish!
   * be thinking about how to divide person's life into 9 chapters
   * review glossary/create a list of specific vocab words (w/ page numbers)
   * be prepared to create your own in depth glossary
   * think about how words fit into your person's life or what words to look up
   * BE PREPARED TO WRITE 3-5 ROUGH DRAFTS NEXT WEEK

II.  MIB CHECK IN (quick write)
- share what you know and where you are so far
- on a provided piece of paper
   Explain where you are at in your study of this person so far
   Do not talk about the book or the person, but your process
   When have you read?  How much?  How long?  Where?  Why?
   What has worked for you?  What has not?
   Even if you have not read, then why?  What did you do instead?
   What should or could you have done to be more finished?

REVISION PROCESS (teacher will walk you through)
1.  Go back and reread your writing to find any and all words
     you think are misspelled or should be checked.
     LIGHTLY CIRCLE AND WRITE "SP?"

2.  Reread again and now look for any boring, unclear, cliche, overused words
      like "stuff,"  "thing," "got," etc.
     Write and circle the word "change" or "strengthen"

3.  Reread a third time and now add the words "explain" or "add details"
