TUES-WED-THUR = MAKERS EXPERIENCE FIELD TRIP

         - finish free choice book for Book Talk on Friday
         - finish accordian booklet of small ICON IMAGES to use with book talk
         - review and box/underline CASTLE READING PACKET #1 (due Tuesday)
            Icon Book Talk is priority, however.

I.  GIVER chapter 7
- review story so far
- review notes on concepts and ideas to pay attention to
- SSR chapter 7 (stop at end of chapter, do not go into chapter 8)

II.  ICON BOOK TALK assignment review
- review checklist of what to know and focus on for talk
- review brainstorm sheet of words that provide ideas for icons to draw
- review paper design and choice
- plan / write in tracker your specific plans for this week
- share and discuss with other students for ideas and confirmations of process/tasks

HOMEWORK -- two major core items to work on this week

__  continue to work on ICON BOOK TALK ACCORDION BOOK IMAGES (due FR)
      images should not take long; simple drawings; color NOT mandatory or even suggested
      plan out cutting, taping, and pasting time

__  begin to review CASTLE READING PACKET #1 (due next TUES)
      box key terms or words about castles, especially castle parts
      underline key details for notes or definitions (like highlighting/note taking)
      * this preps students for what castles are AND what parts they should include

__  OPTIONAL: start to research and think about CASTLE PROJECTS on your own
      before we even start talking more in depth about the project
