- also, unfortunately, these two days were to be spent largely working on starting the book report and prepping for our next in-class novel, Lois Lowry's The Giver

__ a list of 5 CURRENT EVENTS THAT HAPPEN IN THE WORLD over the break
no sports or fashion. Must include the five W's & 1 H.
* can be one long, detailed sentence or a paragraph of several sentences
* grade based on detail (including adjectives and descriptions) of each listing
** this was mentioned in class and written down in our trackers
__ finish the FINAL 20 CLASSICS ILLUSTRATED NOVEL VOCABULARY WORDS
* Students have had several weeks to finish the novel and complete at least 40 vocab
words from the first and second thirds of the novel.
* students had the option of finishing and turning in the final 20 words this week
SINCE SNOWDAYS INTERRUPTED THE INTENDED WORK TIME, WE WILL SPEND TWO HOURS UPON OUR RETURN, finishing up the book report or doing make up work (if student has finished BRpt over break).
