- write in tracker GENRE elements of most MYSTERIES
- self-select from options a Mystery
- read in 8 days (typically they are short and don't take long)
- look at cover, title, back page description or inside cover to choose a book
- once you choose book plan out how much to read each day
- read a few minutes of your book
- discuss with partners what book did you choose and why
- how do the first few pages start?

(USA TODAY Editorial) are due, BUT may be turned in anytime
you finish if you are behind.
This means you may can continue to work on definitions during lunch or borrow
the article for home for full points
