 minimum POEM TYPES YOU SHOULD HAVE RD'S FOR:
__ Setting Acrostics (1-2)        __ Antagonist Acrostic     __ Preposition Poems (2-4)
__ Cinquains (2-4)                   __ Diamontes (2-4)            __ 5 Senses Poems (1, min.)

* You are reviewing your instruction sheet checklists for figurative imagery used

* Revise or rewrite poems to include figurative imagery from check list


I.  POETRY SCRAPBOOK
A.  RECIPE POEMS
      - review actual recipes
      - prepare events, types of people, situations, emotions, etc. from novel
      - i.e.  "Rumble Pie" from the Outsiders; or "Baked Project A La Mode" from Family Tree
   
B.  WORK TIME
      - review instructions; have an agenda
 

II.  SBAC DAY 4
- everyone gets a reading and writing score
- Opt Out kids work on reading and writing skill building packet in library

III.  KNIGHT'S TALE
- Chaucer risking everything; gambling
- increased beliefs and dreams of William's crew
- William forced to show his "love" by losing (Chivalry -- ultimate sacrifice)
- give up/reject true nature to show love
