3/10 [TH], 2016 - OUTSIDERS

** (MOST) CASTLES ON DISPLAY IN THE LIBRARY 

I.  OUTSIDERS
- finish CH 8
- finish/continue CH 8 Q's in Spiral (no more than 2 pages, bRACE style answers)
- discuss all other Q's in table groups; jot down notes in limited space available


II.  OUTSIDERS CHARACTER T-SHIRTS
- Choose a character OTHER than Ponyboy
- review examples as a class
- create expressive T-shirts with words and pictures
- basically, a character analysis/description but in an artistic way

* TSHIRTS DUE MONDAY 
- work in class when you can and finish at home
- color not necessary (the instructions do not ask for color -- it's optional)
- use word list we created in class; any and all notes
- use words off the top of your head that fit or memory from the book
- review questions and answers for ideas

III.  History of the 1950s video
- quick, short  black and white history of the 1950's
- Elvis; Teenagers; Free time
