* SPELLING BEE next week (competition in library)
I. WINTER BREAK CLASSMATE BINGO
- write letters of the alphabet into upper right box of each major box
- any order
- leave out one letter of the alphabet (your choice)
- turn over page and look at information for each letter
- translate big words
- find a student who meets the criteria of each letter
- let teacher know when you have a Bingo, a Four-Corners, or a Black Out
- keep going until we stop! Have fun
II. CLASSICS ILLUSTRATED
- review criteria/components
- discuss in groups/share ABC lists
- discuss movie versus book in groups
- discuss as a class
* due to two days of ice, I will accept late book reports because we didn't have Monday and Tuesday to work on them, as I'd said and intended. We will still have book talks and a movie/book comparison quick write on Friday

HOMEWORK -- no usual homework due to shortened week
