I.  Tall TALES WRITING

- review tall tale story  RUBRIC
-brainstorm/pre-write graphic organizer (for your own story)



II.  TALL TALE WRITING rough draft
- begin rough draft - proofread - then begin final
* if finished, proofread, look for spelling errors,
* use rubric to make sure all elements are present

HOMEWORK -- adjust if you get more done or need to work on a different schedule

___   continue to read CLASSICS ILLUSTRATED novel (SHOULD BE DONE BY NOW)
         expectation is 20-30 minutes per night, 3-4/nights per week, with some weekend reading
         finish by next Friday; begin thinking about book report activities

___   continue 3-5 more McBroom Vocab (due FR)
         * please ensure format is followed with proper details per instructions

___   look over ATLAS pages 182-183 -- what do you see or notice?
         start sentences if you think you are clear on instructions and type of writing we'll expect

___    begin or continue ATLAS Observation Sentences
         Write 3-4 observation sentences based on maps per night (or plan on all on one night)
          covering Antarctica (pages 182-183)
