I. MIB "Check Yourself"
- look over instruction sheet
- what's left? create a TO DO LIST
- break down every step to work on: revise, refine, complete, review, glue, cut, etc.
II. VOCABULARY PRE-QUIZ (Ir-, Il-, Em-, )
- hear word and guess spelling
- hear word in context sentence and guess word part of speech (noun, verb, etc.)
AND definition
- self correct spelling when you receive packets
* work on first two pages in class
* write in bottom left which pages to work on each day
* write in bottom right and box the due date
* box all key terms AND underline details when appropriate (SHOW reading)
III. FAMILY TREE CH 12
- review Ch 11 notes
- write a "previously" summary
- write teacher's "previously"
(modelling out loud summaries WITH analysis and dependent clauses)
- listen to chapter being read/take notes as teacher reads
