9/23/15 - WE

*** PICTURE DAY THIS FRIDAY, September 25

         Academic Support for those students failing or
                         missing 3 significant assignments not completed at their level of ability per IEP
___  REDO or REVISE previous 20 MIB VOCAB (show me when done)
        * we're scratching the full 40 to focus on getting right the format and elements of this vocab

I.  HW CHECK/PLAN
- review where you are at "check yourself"
- look over checklist of tasks you need to finish: are you on track?  Do you need to revise?
- do not overwhelm yourself with too much;  KNOW what you can do and how long a task will take


II.  word play warm up: root words BENE-  and BON- (good)
- show you've read the instructions
- BOX key terms with definitions in text and BOX verbs that are part of instructions
- UNDERLINE key details or instructions

III.  FAMILY TREE chapter 7
- review previous chapter events
- answer chapter 7 Qs as we read

HOMEWORK -- plan out your week very specifically!!!

___ continue Mal- Male- Mis- VOCAB packet (due finished by Thursday)
      * space out and complete in a measured way; do not wait to do entire packet on Wed.

___  continue to work on final MIB chapter rough drafts (last 4 due in rough form by Friday)
       * plan on when to work on specific chapters; spell out each step separately
          (research, write, look at, etc.)
