I.  VOCAB - from MULTICULTURAL NOVEL
- scan pages read so far
- find and write down significant/powerful/unfamiliar words
- create a 3-column word list in your LA Spiral
- include page number in ( ) parentheses
- use third column for any non-English/other-language-specific words/terms/titles, etc.
* show that your can recognize strong/challenging/integral vocabulary words

II.  VOCAB - from MULTICULTURAL NOVEL (part two)
- choose 30 of the most challenging and difficult words
- go back to the page,
- on a separate sheet of paper (to be turned in by Friday):
- write down word,   word part,   definition that makes sense to you, 
  sentence word appears in  and page number in parentheses

III.  MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING
- read an overview of the plot
- view clips from Youtube showing overview of characters, plot, themes, etc.
- take notes in LA Spiral
* Ms. Marjorie will be coming in as part of Right Brain grant
   and working with kids for a few hours over the next few weeks

___ continue to READ MULTICULTURAL NOVEL 20-30 minutes
      
___ plan out and draft 20-25 points worth of poems about and from your novel
       for POETRY SCRAPBOOK (due May 7 in format student has chosen)
       Finish all poems in next 7-10 days (YOU schedule this, keep track)
       Leave last 7 days to rewrite, design booklet, complete other sections
       * we will work on in class, but not all can be completed in class
