III.  MIDDLE AGES NOVEL check out
- peruse several different book choices (all set in the Middle Ages)
- look at cover, title, back page blurb, inside cover, first few chapters
- move about from table group to table group
- select a book that interests you

work we'll do around this book:
___  ABC- list of complex, detailed, well-written mini-paragraphs
        showing all about life in the middle ages
        objects, traditions, celebrations, clothes, food, manners, etc.
        * due November 12 on our return (but plan to finish by Nov. 7)
        * examples will be provided must read book first!

___  PLOT EVENT LIST for first, second, and third parts of book
        will include cause and effect details

___ LITERARY ELEMENTS reflection
       recognizing character, theme, conflict, setting, etc.
