I.  MCYAFBK - Multicultural Young Adult Fiction Book
- read SSR for 20 minutes
- review prepositions/definition
- preview preposition poem examples & structure

VOLUNTEERS STEP UP TO PRESENT THEIR POEMS TO CLASS!

II. GEOGRAPHY/SETTING ACROSTICS
- show awareness of setting and geography through an Acrostic
- write rough draft(s) in class -- all FROM novel
* write at least one rough draft from perspective of a character
* use a dictionary to find words that start with certain letters if you are stuck

___  continue to read MULTICULTURAL YOUNG ADULT NOVEL
        try to finish by this weekend so you can focus on writing poems

___  review POETRY SCRAPBOOK instruction sheet (again); where are you?

___  write a poem or two (your schedule); or, begin to plan final product/format
         again, if it's due the week after Ashland, you have time;  but planning is key
