II.  MULTICULTURAL BOOK - home reading book
- how to look at/think about a possible new book
- cover, title, image (interpret/consider/predict)
- read back cover/inside cover
- begin first page or two, skim around

* write thoughts on paper; what is a book you WOULD choose
    from this table and why; a book you would NOT choose and why?
- go from table to table to review 10-15 books
- make a choice by end of class; POETRTY SCRAPBOOK

TWO WEEKS TO READ WITH A THIRD WEEK TO FINALIZE POETRY SCRAPBOOK
- we will write rough drafts of poems in class, with students working on their own extra poems at home
