3/5/13 - TU [CASTLES DUE]

I.  CASTLE WALK ABOUT
- (part 1) walk around the classroom and just check out castles...enjoy, but don't touch!
- (part 2) use rubric to look more closely at castles (not your own)
               now start to think about what you made and the check lists we've created
               are people using them
- (part 3) score other student castles; make comments when you can; be positive, please
- score your own castle (first core will score on Wednesday)


 II.  CASTLE RESEARCH/READING
- room 112
- research real, actual castles around the world or in history
- focus on how they are described
- Who built, why built, how built, when built, where built,
   materials, special facts, etc.
- TAKE CORNELL STYLE NOTES in your SS Spiral
* all should give you ideas on how to write your background essay
