- discuss title; What could it mean? What is "paradise?"
- view video with lyrics that show during song; 
- view official video; break down opening; why certain images used?
- analyze how images help tell story
- what is the narrative? setting? characters?
- how does the narrator/singer create sympathy for the woman or
  people in need (through word choice)

II.  TRENCHCOAT STORY
- read two-page story of compassion
- an act of compassion makes a difference
- discuss in groups/share events in story


III.  HOW A PENNY CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- guided quick write
- what do you see when you look at a penny?
  use this as opening paragraph.
