I.  TURKEY TALK
- Share in groups what your experiences with the homework
- How'd the collage go?  How'd you put it together, chose the words, etc.
- What was it like performing the poem?  
* we'll quick write about the experience tomorrow

II.  VOCABULARY PRE-QUIZ
- hear word and sentence; guess spelling and meaning
- self-correct vocab
- walk through process for completing new vocab pages
- begin Week 1, Day 1 (Day 2 is Tuesday night HW)
* new vocab that we'll be working on until end of the year
* four days, five words & one idiom each day
* uses a variety of reading/comprehension strategies; requires steps be followed
* finish all pages by Thursday for correcting; turn in with sentences on Friday
