I.  HOMEWORK CHECK - ATLAS, CROSSWORD, VOCAB
* this is not your traditional "checking" -- it's all student-directed
- check, discuss, compare answers and correct discrepancies
- teacher listens in to see if any true class-wide confusion occurs on certain answers

II.  MINI ILLUSTRATED BOOKLET ROUGH DRAFT CHECK
- teacher checks to see if they are done; visual check only
* MIB DUE OCTOBER 9th

III. MINI ILLUSTRATED BOOKLET - INTRODUCTION (rough)
- read two-page description of ways to write the introduction
* if you just answered the questions posed in this paper, you'd have a strong intro
- write rough draft of introduction to your MIB
- use an encyclopedia if you need more information than your book provided

 > Reflection and Reference/Bibliography pages will be discussed directly on Monday,
although students may look at other books and work on a bibliography on their own
