I.  HOMEWORK/TRACKER CHECK IN
- organize homework; figure out and arrange what's due
- complete any last minute items
- read Vocab Sentences to each other; hear how students used vocab words


II.  LETTER OF INTRODUCTION
- discuss what you know or have heard about 8th grade Core
- brainstorm/web things you would tell next year's core teacher (about yourself)
- discuss as a class and in groups
- frame/outline paragraphs for introduction letter
- focus on main ideas for each paragraph

* teacher led/guided with ideas
* start to write if you have 8 paragraph ideas
* letters will end with "hopes and goals for 8th grade"
   and well wishes for the summer
* will write letters in one sitting on Monday, but students can work on letters at home
   if they choose to.  Not required.
