- discuss what you know or have heard about 8th grade Core- brainstorm/web things you would tell next year's core teacher (about yourself)
- discuss as a class and in groups
- frame/outline paragraphs for introduction letter
- focus on main ideas for each paragraph

* start to write if you have 8 paragraph ideas
* letters will end with "hopes and goals for 8th grade"
and well wishes for the summer
