I. LIMERICKS
- cornell notes-style lecture on what Limericks are
- read examples of limericks (repeat after teacher)
- focus on rhythm, pattern and rhyme of limericks
- WRITE a rough draft of a limerick, using your own name
* must be appropriate, not rude or crude, not insulting
* we'll return to these limericks on Monday & Wednesday
II. OUTSIDERS
- follow along as teacher reads
- continue into Chapter 8
