language arts/vocabulary
I.  VOCABULARY
- look over vocab (since MiB was priority last night)
- review and discuss answers with table mates
- say and discuss words/word parts/definitions
- work out discrepancies and find correct answers
* vocab due completed by Thursday, start of class

social studies
II.  SOCIAL STUDIES SPIRAL REVIEW
- create table of contents; review work so far
- teacher model and discusses process
* if you are missing work, you'll still put in ToC
   but will have to copy or recreate from someone
* frames and Interactive Student Notebook work not included

social studies
II.  ANCIENT ROME - video
      Ancient Civilizations for Children: Rome
- key word list on Ancient Rome Video
- teacher led; how to take notes on a video
- just like an essay - starts with an introduction
- skip lines when a new topic/subject is introduced
 - these would be new "paragraphs" in writing
* this kind of note-taking can lead to independent, thoughtful, 
   detailed essays or reports
