- Discuss at tables; guess or think about what impact could have been
- share as a whole class; discuss

II.  EFFECTS OF CRUSADES ON WEST - cornell notes
- teacher lecture; follow format of teacher notes
- read Across the Centuries, pp. 301-302
- FINISH Cornell Notes on 7 ways in which Crusades impacted west
   (according to text)
- think ahead;  look at how many lines are left on your paper; determine how
much space you'll need for each "impact;"  take notes accordingly


III.  INTRO TO THE RENAISSANCE - HA, CH28 chapter preview
- preview the chapter before reading
- FRAME the outline of Chapter 28
- List Heading/Subheadings; focus words (vocab),
