* Okay, we took a hiatus.  Let's try this again.  *

NOTE:  NO VOCAB THIS WEEK.  

READING PCKT IN LIEU OF VOCAB. (TEST PREP)

I.  JOURNALING
- FRAME for last We, Th, FR
- Main ideas could be major activities
   such as Julius Caesar, Annie's Donuts, etc.
- 1-2 word detail comments, which COULD be
   fleshed out into a fuller paragraph/sentence
- take one column and use it to write a detailed
   paragraph with a main idea and supporting details.

II.  TEST PREP PACKET - due FR
- 12 pages; counts for reading assignment
- MUST show reading and thought process by
   notating on paper
- box verbs telling you what to do; underline key specifics
- box key terms you should know; underline key definition words

* there will be time in every class to work on and discuss packet work

III.  DICEY'S SONG - ABC LIST (finish)
- finish/complete list of ABC words for Dicey's Song
- must show awareness of Characterization, Setting, Plot, etc.
- must show some attempt to analyze meaning
- 3 sentences minimum; 7 max
