They will be this Thursday, Nov 18th from 9 - 1:30 in the small gym. If you need a retake you are to bring your picture packet back and turn it into the photographer on retake day. If your were absent on Picture Day and need to have your picture taken for the first time, you will need to bring an order form and payment to the photographer that day. Order forms are available in the office.


I.  VOCAB REVIEW

- pronounce words again (as a class)

**  NO "TEST" THIS WEEK. STUDENTS WILL WRITE 

ORIGINAL SENTENCES USING THE WORDS.

II.  FAMILY TREE - 3 Levels of Questioning
 -review Costa's 3 Levels of Questioning
- create 5-10 Level 1 Q's
- create 3-6 Level 2 Q's
- create 2-6 Level 3 Q's
* share as a classs/discuss
* the ability to create questions that might appear on a test is,
    in itself, a test on the novel.

IV.  'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE THANKSGIVING - poem
- Ms. Knoke reads this popular rhyming poem
- focus on adjectives, vivid verbs, rhyming pairs
- write words on scratch paper first
- reread story several times
- share at tables words, complete worksheet
- answer story/plot Q's on back of sheet (in groups)
